Exporting WAV from Suno
A short practical page: get a clean audio file out of Suno before you open GarageBand. Exact button labels shift by Suno version — look for Export / Download and prefer WAV when offered.
Quick steps
-
Open the song
- Open the track you want in Suno (Studio or song view).
-
Export / Download
- Choose Export or Download.
- If you see format options, pick WAV (or highest quality) for DAW work.
- If stems / multitrack are available, grab those too — they’re better for mixing.
-
Save and unzip
- Download to a folder you can find (Desktop or a Music project folder).
- Unzip if the download is a zip of stems.
-
Note BPM
- Write down the tempo if Suno shows it — you’ll match it in GarageBand.
WAV keeps more detail than a compressed MP3 for editing. If Suno only offers MP3 for your plan, that still works for a first GarageBand import — upgrade later if you need stems.
